Here's how it works:
- On-board diagnostics transmit engine events and vehicle service requirements to the OnCommand Customer Support Center.
- When an alert is detected, an OnCommand Repair Advocate formulates the best possible repair plan, then contacts a dispatcher.
- In close communication with the driver, they’ll route the truck to the nearest International dealership with the necessary parts, tooling and specialized equipment to repair the vehicle.
The result: Diagnostic and repair planning takes place before the truck reaches the dealership — and the vehicle is back on the road with minimal downtime.
